"วัดพระพุทธาวกาศาราม" เป็นวัดที่สร้างขึ้นโดยพุทธบัญชาให้เป็นศูนย์ปฏิบัติธรรมผ่านเทคโนโลยีและสารสนเทศ เพื่อให้สาธุชนไม่จำกัดเชื้อชาติและศาสนาสามารถเข้ามาศึกษาหาความรู้เกี่ยวกับชีวิตสำหรับการเดินทางที่ยาวนาน เต็มไปด้วยภยันตรายที่จะดึงแต่ละคนไปสู่อบายหรือโลกเบื้องต่ำ คือ การเกิดเป็นเปรต สัตว์ดิรัจฉาน อสุรกาย และสัตว์นรก เพื่อให้สามารถเตรียมกายเตรียมใจสำหรับความตายซึ่งต้องประสบกับพวกเราแต่ละคนอย่างแน่นอน และไม่ทราบว่าจะเกิดขึ้นเมื่อไร วัดนี้จัดสร้างขึ้นเป็นวัดพุทธนิมิต ท่านไม่สามารถจะเดินทางไปถึงด้วยกายเนื้อแต่สามารถเข้าถึงทางอินเทอร์เนตและทางธรรมเท่านั้น โดยผ่านวิธีปฎิบ้ติตามแนวพุทธสายตรง

"พุทธสายตรง" หรือ "สายตรงต่อพระพุทธองค์" เป็นธรรมปฏิบัติแนวดั้งเดิมที่ชาวพุทธยึดถือและปฏิบัติสืบต่อกันมาตั้งแต่สมัยพระพุทธกาล และยึดในความเชื่อที่ว่า พระพุทธองค์พร้อมพระอรหันต์ทั้งหลาย แม้จะปรินิพพานไปแล้ว ก็ยังทรงพระชนม์อยู่ และยังทรงมีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ เสด็จลงมาตรัสเทศนาสั่งสอนพุทธศาสนิกชนผู้ปฏิบัติดีด้วยพระองค์เอง ชาวพุทธสายตรงเชื่อใน "ไตรภูมิ" ว่า นรกสวรรค์มีจริง เชื่อใน "สังสารวัฏฏะ" คือ การเวียนว่ายตายเกิด เชื่อว่า ชาติก่อน ชาติหน้ามีจริง และปรารถนาจะถอนรากวงจรแห่งการการเวียนว่ายตายเกิด และเชื่อว่า สภาวะอาจินไตย ปาฏิหารย์ หรือสภาวะเหนือธรรมชาติมีจริง ผู้ปฏิบัติดีปฏิบัติชอบย่อมเข้าถึงและประสบได้ด้วยตนเอง หากได้ปฏิบัติธรรมอย่างถูกต้อง ตามแนวปฏิบัติ "พุทธสายตรง" แห่งองค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าพระสมณโคดมแห่งเราทั้งปวง

"Buddha Direct" or Direct to Lord Buddha" is an orthodox Buddhism adhering to the traditional belief that the Lord Buddha, all other Buddhas (the Enlightened Ones) and all Aranhanta, although already entered the Nippana, are still alive and still mercifully bestow the teachings and guidance to their followers. Buddha Direct Buddhists believe in the existences of the Tri Bhumi (three worlds), i.e. hells and heavens; believe in reincarnations and wish to uproot their rebirth cycle, and believe in Ajinteya or Ajintai (the state of wonders) and other supernatural phenomena not easily perceived by ordinary human beings but only through the righteous approach such as this Buddha Direct Meditation Approach (BDMA) directly guided by the Lord Gotama Buddha.
